Empowering everyone to move freely
and live without limits

Our Mission

Building
a truly accessible
and inclusive society

Barriers exist within our social environment, and what human hands have created, human hands can change. We eliminate physical and social obstacles today to ensure that future generations can thrive in a world filled with possibilities, not limitations.

Our Vision

A world where
mobility challenges
never limit your potential

Physical and environmental barriers often restrict movement and isolate individuals. We are here to change this reality. Through our community-driven platform, we co-create a world where limited mobility never prevents people from pursuing their dreams and contributing to society.

What We Do

Realizing an inclusive society where everyone is respected

We drive four key initiatives to advance accessibility, empowering everyone to navigate the world with dignity and independence.

  • Sharing knowledge

    WheeLog! app

    Crowdsourced Accessibility Data

    WheeLog! app

This app empowers people with mobility challenges to explore with confidence by sharing crowdsourced accessibility data and user-generated route logs.

  • Building Inclusive Mindsets

    City Walk Workshops

    Building Inclusive Mindsets

    City Walk Workshops

These experiential workshops allow participants to navigate urban environments in wheelchairs to experience accessibility firsthand. They are widely adopted for corporate DE & I training and school education to foster empathy and build inclusive mindsets.

  • Infrastructure Surveys

    Accessibility Audits

    Infrastructure Surveys

    Accessibility Audits

Wheelchair users directly survey and record the accessibility of public spaces, facilities, and transit systems. Our field data supports municipalities and corporations in urban planning, backed by proven partnerships with local governments across Japan.

  • Policy Reform & Advocacy

    Systemic Change

    Policy Reform & Advocacy

    Systemic Change

We translate field data and user feedback into national and local policy recommendations. Our founder, Yuriko Oda, serves on government committees to help establish higher accessibility standards and drive structural reform.

Meet Our Founder

Yuriko Oda

Founder & Executive Director

Yuriko Oda was diagnosed with a rare neuromuscular disease in her youth and became a wheelchair user. Experiencing firsthand the challenges of limited urban mobility, she founded WheeLog to empower people with disabilities and co-create an accessible world for everyone.

Turning Personal Challenges into Global Change

Living with a disability taught me that the biggest barriers are not physical limits, but a lack of information and understanding. WheeLog connects people, data, and technology to show that mobility challenges should never hold anyone back. Together, we are building a world where everyone can explore freely and live with confidence.

In July 2025, Founder Yuriko Oda presented Japan's accessibility progress at the UN High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) in New York, sharing our vision for an inclusive world with global leaders.
